Prize

The prize for completing this quest within the time limit is some really adorable wallpaper and floorings plus a mobile to use in your babies nurseries.

The prize is definitely worth trying to complete the quest in time for - the wallpapers and flooring is a really nice touch to the options you have for your rooms when decorating. You can find the new wallpaper in the wallpaper section, flooring in the floors section and mobile in the baby section of the home store.

The next quest is Ocean View Estate which will unlocks at level 9 and unlocks premium house plots in Sim Town.

FAQs on this quest

Why can't I start this quest?
As this is a main quest you need to complete all the previous quests (full list of main quests can be found here) and be level 8 or above before this quest becomes unlocked for you.

Can I complete this quest even though I am passed level 8?
You can complete this quest at any level on or after level 8.  As long as you have completed the previous quests, this quest will pop up automatically for you.

Why do blue footprints appear when I try to use an item?
This happens when your Sim can't access the item. To solve this you either need to rotate the item so the little arrow has a blank space in front of it or move an item that has been placed in front of the item you want to use.

Why are there two versions of this quest?
The developers have altered tasks and quests as they have updated the game but have not done so on all devices.  So the device you're playing on will affect which version you get.

Why can't I place the magazines in my house?
The stack of magazines need to be placed on a counter or table, they can not be placed on the floor.

Can I build the children's store early?
No, the option to build the children's store is only available once it is a goal within the quest.

Why can't I add a baby?
The main reason would be that your Sims aren't married.  Make sure the crib is placed in a house where the two Sims living there are married.

Can I just skip this quest? I don't really like it!
Nope, Ne, Non, No! This is a main quest and you MUST complete each main quest before you can move onto the next.

Why are some of the times different on my game?
Each item has a star rating - 1,2 or 3 stars. The higher the star rating of the item you are using, the quicker it will be to complete a task.

What happens if I don't finish within the time limit?
All that happens is you won't receive the limited time prize. You can still complete the quest and in fact have to finish the quest before you can move on to the next quest.

Can I restart the quest?
No quest can be restarted or redone.
