Adult Sims are the Sims you begin your game with and are the only Sims available from the beginning of the game. You can create an adult Sim when you have an empty house by clicking on the green house icon and select 'Add a Sim'
You can also progress a teen into an adult once you have completed the Adulthood quest. To do this you need to bake a birthday cake on a stove, which takes 24 hours and costs 5LP. Once the birthday cake is finished click on it, then click your teen and select the 'Have birthday' and they will age into an adult
Once you complete the Life Dreams & Legacies quest you no longer have to bake birthday cakes as Sims will age automatically.
